You can check if you have already paid for EA membership by logging in and checking if your “Memberships” includes “Chester Tri Club EA Membership”

Chester Triathlon Club competes in two Cross Country Leagues each year and also enter teams into Championship events. The leagues are a series of local monthly races held from October to February, ranging from 4.5 to 6 miles in length. Off-road shoes or XC spikes are strongly advised.

These races are certainly not just for the faster members of the club. They are an opportunity for all of us to have a good hard run which will do much to benefit our progress and core strength. Use them as a training session or to build experience of a race situation. As you tend to compete against the same people month on month it provides a good measure (and incentive!) of how you are getting on throughout the season.

Like all Leagues we compete in, we don’t have to have the same people in each race, so come along even if you can only make a couple of dates.

Everyone is welcome, remember, we all help the overall scores one way or another.

Chester Tri also leads the field in post race catering – hot drinks and flap jacks!

Most of the races are completely free to enter and you can just turn up on the day, no need to sign-up in advance.
Chester Tri also enter teams into Championship events, these races have a small fee and must be entered in advance, contact Mike Waring.
