Raid the Pyrenees 2020
Saturday 30th May to 6th June 2020
Chester Tri are excited to announce that we have arranged the Raid the Pyrenees tour in 2020 for our members to enjoy. We will again be using Pyreenes Cycling led by Rob Williamson who provided the club excellent service back in 2015 when we completing the same challenge – it was that good we are going back again !
It is 6 days in the saddle staying 7 nights and the cost is £1085.00 per person based on two sharing. A single supplement is also available an extra cost of £200

Flight details are not yet released but you will be advised of the exact flights to book nearer the time, flying into Biarritz from Manchester and returning from Carcassonne into Manchester. Flight details are released 6-8 months before.
We are allowing for three groups with difference in abilities and we expect you to be able to complete each ride each day. In the event of any difficulties being encountered, a support vehicle will be on hand. Each group will have a lead provided by Rob and his team.

Booking Your Place
To secure your place you need to pay £200.00 deposit a further £400.00 by the 30th Nov 2019 and the last payment of £485.00 on the 31st March 2020 – based on a twin room share
Single supplement: £200.00 deposit 30th Nov 2019 £500.00 and last payment £585.00 on the 31st March 2020.
Rob at Pyrenees Cycling will managing all the bookings for Chester Tri so you just need to contact Rob direct at email@example.com quoting ‘Chester Triathlon Club’ and he will provide you a booking form to fill in and return to him.
We will periodically show who is attending on Facebook or other channels so you have an idea of the start list
This promises to be a truly excellent tour and one not to be missed. We will look forward to seeing you there where you will enjoy an excellent cycling experience with other club members in the challenging but also very rewarding Pyrenees Mountains. You will ascend and descend some of the most iconic Col’s in the Tour de France and ride through various pretty villages stopping of for lunch and coffee each day. The tour starts on the Atlantic sea and finishes on the Mediterranean side of France passing through the Pyrenees Mountains. Initial feedback on Facebook and also private emails to both myself and Chris suggests that we are likely to fill the 32 spaces available – so please secure your booking right away. In the unlikely event the uptake is poor, then initial deposits will be kindly reimbursed by Rob at Pyrenees Cycling.
