A big thanks and well done to everyone who took part in the Doorstep 5K during the 6 months from April to September 2020.
Over the series of 25 events, 90 runners completed 707 runs between them for a collective total distance of 3535km.
Many new PB’s were set, some of those being (unofficial) All-Time PB’s.
The Doorstep 5K then continued through November, we reached 30 events, and had 96 runners complete 816 runs between them for a collective total distance of 4080km.
From December onwards to the beginning of May 2021, special editions were held, and upon reaching 39 events we’d had 115 runners complete 1000 runs between them to achieve a collective total distance of 5000km!
Once again, a big thanks and well done to everyone who took part.

Doorstep 5K
5K run from your home, to be completed anytime over the weekend.
Rules:
- You must abide by the government’s current social distancing guidelines.
- Run from home (or close by with a warm up distance) and avoid popular exercise routes (like parkrun routes). Try and do circular or out and back routes if you can, just not one-way downhill routes please!
- Run your 5K anytime Saturday or Sunday. Submit your time and proof of performance (workout screenshot or link) by midnight Sunday.
A bit of fun and hopefully a little motivation to get out running and something to aim for at the weekend.
