I watched my Mum do the Nantwich sprint triathlon in 2016 and decided that it looked pretty cool, so I entered the same race the following year. I couldn’t swim properly, I had a bike that was too small, and ambitions that were too big for a complete novice! I was instantly hooked. I joined the tri club in 2020 after COVID brought on an early retirement from hockey. Several years on and I can swim a bit better now (name a more humbling experience as an adult!), I’ve got two bikes that are both the correct size (you always need another bike!) and still have ambitions that are too big… I’m heading into my first Ironman in Copenhagen in August 2026.

The only thing that I love more than triathlon training and racing, is taking photos of training and racing. If you see me at a race, I will insist on a selfie and a group photo (in portrait for the insta stories!).
