Favourite TV program nothing specific these days but Sky+ best thing ever invented!
Tip to get to the top
Plan everything from first principles. Get a good coach but only one who you can work with as a team.
Coaching philosophy Accept that most people we coach are not world beaters but each person has their own personal aspirations and it is up to us as coaches to help them achieve them.
Favourite coaching resources Notorious book collector on sport coaching. Internet obviously a major source too.

Coach Biog

In my early thirties I was a club runner with marathon aspirations and began being coached by a very good club coach. We worked well together and the end result was a fairly quick marathon which was repeated for several more years. All other shorter distance races improved dramatically too as a result of the training. I was offered a coaching course by my club quite early on and took it to improve my own knowledge for my development. The coaching bug to help others began here. More qualifications followed. As I aged, I slowed! I was looking for change of sporting direction. Triathlon beckoned. Competition at all distances and further coaching qualifications followed. Represented GB in Age Group  at World and European levels. Have coached triathletes at all distances and to Kona World Championships.
