Coach Biog
Spent most of my university days mountaineering, hanging on to a rock face, in a dark and cold cave or out of control ‘canoeing’ down a fast flowing river – at least it felt it at the time. Eventually I had to get a job and not enough time to play so a friend (Junior National Champion) introduced me to triathlon and I have been hooked ever since. The sport allows for such a diversity from the very good to those competing their first ever Tri to those who just enjoy competing for fun - all in the same race. Its great to be part of a club, everyone gets the same cheer when you finish and the support structure really makes it a good day out – and there is nothing better than finishing a race.
