Coach Biog
I’ve swam competively from an early age but never really competed at top level until my late teens. A change of stroke and coach did the trick. My triathlon days started out as a bit of fun in my mid 20s. Armed with my bike with bell and basket on the front and green flash running shoes I won the first Cheshire fire service triathlon which is now the Deva tri { only 30 competitors }. With a few changes of equipment and ever lasting massive debt I went on to compete at top level. I’ve coached swimming now for just over 35 years and still thouroughly enjoy it particularly Chester tri members
