With winter weekend rides soon to begin again (late September or early October) we’re offering a session to practice group riding and have the joy of doing this on the traffic free circuit at Marsh Tracks, near Rhyl. Andy Howarth, one of our level 2 coaches, will lead a session on riding in a group. It will be useful for confidence building as a leader or group rider. We’ll also have some time to do some races in the safety of the traffic free circuit. Everyone is welcome and we especially hope that members who are prepared to help lead group rides this winter (both continuing and new group leaders) will want to come.
The session will run from 14:00 until 16:00 at Marsh Tracks, near Rhyl.
Dave Press, the club’s bike lead, hopes to have a short discussion to help him plan rides this winter – routes, how many groups, how many leaders per group and anything else members want to clarify or influence?”
This event is free of charge, but entering here on nifty entries will help us know how many to expect.
