A one week challenge that takes you from Hendaye on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean to the beautiful seaside town of Cerbére on the Mediterranean via the high cols of the Pyrenees Mountains in 6 stages. This is a hard but beautiful riding challenge and if you are reasonably fit and regularly ride your bike then this will be an excellent achievement and well within your grasp.
The route takes you on the quiet country roads over the most famous climbs in the world. Each day will be ridden at a comfortable pace with a relaxing stopover in 2** hotels including a night at Pyrenees Multisports in Luscan where you can take a relaxing swim in the pool or just crash out on the terrace with a beer. A support team will always be there with either water for your bidons or a hot cup of tea on top of the climb. You will not need to carry anything other than yourself over the mountains.

- Lunches - normally taken at local cafés or out on the bike

How to get there:
By coach – the European Bike Express is the easy way to travel with your bike and luggage. Relax on a luxury coach with a secure bike trailer in tow. No worries about excess weight charges, or damage to or loss of your bike.
Pick-up from Knutsford on Friday evening, arriving at Bayonne around 15:00 Saturday. Return pick-up from Perpignan Saturday at 14:30, arriving back to Knutsford at 13:00 Sunday.
It will cost £242 which is comparable with the airfare... but without the hassle.
By air - Flights to Biarritz and back from Perpignan are available from London Stansted airport with Ryanair.
