Chester Triathlon Club

Each year we nominate local events to be our club championship events, a Duathlon race, a Sprint distance race and an Olympic distance race.  We try to rotate these events so not to have the same events every year.

We try to encourage as many people to enter these events as possible, they also always form part of the summer league.  If you are thinking about what local events to enter please consider these first as you're sure to get support and meet other Chester Tri members there.

Perpetual sheilds are awarded at the annual club Christmas party to the male and female winners in each race.  Check out the previous winners in the "Hall of Fame" here.

We also award the best performance in any middle distance race and any long distance race.  The performance is measured as a percentage against the winning time for each gender.

Dualthon Championships : Oulton Park Spring Dualthon : Date to be announced

Sprint Distance : Boundary Breeze : Date to be announced

Olympic Distace : Ellesmere Triathlon : 24th June 2012

Middle Distance : Any approx Half Ironman Distance Race

Long Distance : Any approx Ironman Distance Race
